- White Pass Cross Country Camp

- Established in 1974, the Clear Lake/White Pass Cross Country Camp is the oldest continuously running Cross Country Camp in the Northwest. The camp differentiates itself from other running camps by presenting a program designed to help all campers develop their skills, regardless of abilities or experiences. Since 1984 the camp has been based at White Pass Ski Resort and Condominiums. This site allows a training elevation between 4500-6000 feet. Every year over 420 runners from all over the Northwest, Alaska & California attend the camp. A 6 day residence camp for boys and girls ages 13 through High School at White Pass Resort; White Pass, Washington. • The comprehensive educational program includes lectures and group discussions on issues such as nutrition, injury prevention, race strategy, flexibility, cross training, college preparation, goal setting, leadership development, running in college, uphill & downhill running technique, workout planning and more. • A Running Technique Analysis is conducted for each camper. • Training and conversation with collegiate and other elite runners. • Cross country relay activities, the Mountain Challenge run, and the end of camp Time Trial. • Team building games, medicine ball drills, plyometrics for runners, daily runs and workouts, and much more.
