I am a senior at Burlington Edison High School which is a 2A school in Washington State. I have participated in varsity volleyball, basketball and track since my freshman year. I've qualified for state in every season in every sport so far and last year my volleyball team went undefeated and won the state championship. Because of the time commitments from my heavy involvement in volleyball and basketball I haven't had the opportunity to train as most long distance runners do. I'm hoping to find a coach that recognizes my ability and through proper training could help me reach my full potential and be compeitive at the collegiate level. My freshman and sophomore year I ran the 1600m and my best time was 5:15.76. Last year, my junior year, was my first time running the 3200m and my best time was 11:15.2 (school record). I look forward to focusing on training for cross country and track and no other sports in college.
