I have had a passion for running since competing in my first 5K race at age 5. I have run competitively for USATF since 2012. I hold the 13 -14 girls records in the 1500 M and the 3000 M for Border Association. I've been All American a total of 9 times in XC and track at the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals. I hold the middle school El Paso Independent School District records for 7th grade girls 2400 M, the 8th grade girls 1600 M, and the 2400 M. I have been the first female finisher in multiple 5K and 8K road races, and first finisher overall in two 5K races. I have run two 24 hour races with my longest distance being 63 miles in 24 hours. I just completed the regular season XC meets running varsity as a Freshman and placed first in all 8 meets, running undefeated the entire season. I advanced to Regionals where I placed 5th. I advanced to States where I placed 5th (beating three of the girls who beat me at Regionals). Best time in the high school season was 17:34 for 5K at States. I am looking forward to continuing to compete at the High School level and preparing to run at the College level. During the club season I advanced to the USATF Junior Olympics (Nationals) where I placed 9th in the nation for 13-14 year old girls. I was All American for the 5th year in a row in XC, I repeat, running is my passion.
