I have a strong desire to compete in track and field in college, as I have put much time into training to become a better athlete. Coming from such a small school we do not have a track and field team and are required to run on another school's track team, twenty minutes away. Also, being that our school is so small, I was unable to compete in track and field until my freshman year, I have made accomplishments, but I know there is much more for me to learn to improve my times. I have a large amount of commitment to track and field because I know that it can provide me with a brighter future and allow me to reach goals in which I set. During college I plan on getting a degree in Sports Science, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science. While I spend a majority of my time with athletics I also know that academics come first and are a must to becoming an even stronger athlete.
