Melanie Riley '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Melanie Riley. I am a 5 foot tall cross-country/track runner and a basketball player at Spring Grove High School located in Pennsylvania. I have been on the Varsity cross country/track team since freshman year. I have also won a medal at our county cross-country meet every year and have made the all-star cross-country runner for Hanover Pennsylvania since freshman year. I currently have a 3.4 GPA. My peers view me as a hard worker who never gives up. I love the challenge people present to me. I do not have a preference on going to either a big or small school, but I would like to attend a school on the east coast. I plan on furthering my education somewhere in the business field. My goal for my college running career is to push myself, become a better runner, and to enjoy running. Someday I would love to run a marathon!
