My name is Makenzie Wall, I am 18 years old. I was awarded first team All County my freshman year after winning 6 out of seven invitationals in the 100 M and 200 M, finishing second in each event once and winning the YAIAA county championships. Later that year I ran in the USATF winning the preliminary in Philadelphia, PA for both the 100 M and 200 M. I also won both events in the District Championship in West Chester, PA and finished second in the 100 M at the Regional Championship in California, PA. qualifying me for the Junior Olympics for the second straight year. My times have ranged from 11.8 to 12.65 in the 100 m and 25.36 to 26.98 in the 200. After tearing my ACL and not being able to participate my sophomore year, my goals are simple; I want to be a state champ!! My junior year I came back out of shape and over weight for a sprinter, not meeting my goals. I am training hard both on the track and in the weight room. I will run sub 12 in the 100 and sub 25 in the 200 this year. I will come in and contribute right away to help my team and myself win.
