Rachel Fyalkowski '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rachel Fyalkowski. I am going to be a senior at Hempfield Area High School in Greenburg, Pennsylvania. My high school career has consisted of many achievements. As a freshman, I threw 35" 7' in shot put and 95" 1' in discus. As a sophomore, I attended the state meet and received 12th. My PR sophomore year for shot put was 37' 0" and discus was 105' 0". Junior year, I was the WPIAL champion, which is first in our county and conference. Also, I went to the state meet for both indoor and outdoor seasons. At the indoor state meet I placed 6th, and outdoor I placed 10th. My PR for shot put junior year was 40' 3.5" and 111' 0" for discus. Throughout the next year, I plan to train very hard. I anticipate a throw of 44' for shot put and in the 120's for discus. I also plan to win big at both state meets and then continue throwing throughout college.
