Personal Statement
Since my freshman year, I knew that I wanted to make track and field a huge part of my life. Through hard work, dedication, and perseverance, I have managed to make my way to the top of the team and become a leader to the new athletes. I see a lot of potential for myself this upcoming season and in the future years to come. With a personal record of sixty-three seconds, I am working to decrease that time to sixty-one seconds by the end of this season and to continue improving throughout my college career. I will not stop striving to be the best athlete and student that I can be. Instead of being content with my achievements, I will higher my standards in the hope of pursuing excellence.
