Being in 8th grade, I am not 100% sure of what I'd like to do after college, but I know I want to go into the medical field as a career. Because I am only in 8th grade, the track season is not very long, but during the off-season, I wake up at five am to go to CrossFit (weight and cardio training) two days a week before school, then I go right to school, then right to gymnastics where I train three to four hours a day, then home to do my homework and practice piano for a half an hour before bed. During track season my schedule is a bit different. And, I train for track on my own during the summer and on weekends. I think what would make me a good candidate for an athletic collegiate team is my organizational skills and my ability to maintain an extreme schedule - both academically and athletically.
