I want to pursue a degree in Computer Science and minor in Cyber Security. By pursuing this I plan to own my own technology firm. I also plan on running track in college. I have been running for 3 years now, the 200m and 400m being my best events. As a freshman I was all conference in the 4x100, winning both districts and regionals and qualifying for states. My sophomore year I broke the 60m record for my school and was awarded team captain. I unfortunately pulled my hamstring the first meet of my 2014 outdoor season but I didn't let it hurt my confidence. I came back to anchor my schools 4x400 team through districts and regionals and even qualifying for New Balance Nationals. During my 2014 summer AAU season I was both district and regional champion in the 200. In 2015 my AAU team placed 9th in the nation, with me running first leg. In the 2016 Indoor State meet I was the only girl to qualify in the 60, 200, and 400. I have qualified for AAU Nationals all three years that I have been running track. Track has given me a love for a sport that no other one has. It has taught me resilience, determination, and a great work ethic. I hope to continue to pursue all my academic and athletic goals in college
