Kayleigh Scourfield '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5-6 varsity cross country and track runner at Cuyahoga Falls High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. As a sophomore in the fall of 2009, I qualified for the Division I state cross country meet where I ran 19:49, finishing 53rd. My sophomore year also featured All-Northeast Ohio Conference honors in cross country; a regional track meet berth in the 3,200-meter run; and being named All-NOC in the 1,600, as well. During my freshman year at CFHS, I earned MVP honors in the NOC after winning the league�??s cross country meet. In addition, I qualified for the Division I regional meet for the first time in 2008. In the classroom, I am currently maintaining a 3.833 GPA. with a class ranking of 44 in a class of 399. I personally can offer any college program strong leadership skills and the ability to accomplish a variety of things both academically and athletically. I promise to deliver a will to fight each day and work hard at every practice and meet. Currently, I am undecided on a school, but I am hoping to run on a varsity team as a freshman. I am very interested in looking at programs on each collegiate level and my fields of interest include athletic training, coaching or any profession that will allow me to work with a team (s) following graduation.
