September 2013Personal Statement
Senior year- work hard in the off season , make it to state in pole vault, reach my goal for the top vaulter in girls for Elmwood High School of 10'3" or higher.
College- obtain as many scholarships as I am able to to help financially pay for my college, have the opportunity to participate in pole vault at the college level & continue to improve.
Career- Id like to go to college to further my education in the field of nursing. I was inspired to be in the nursing field by my grandmother. She inspired me by always being there for anyone that had a health issue. I always considered her to be our doctor, as she always had the answers. Her passion to help those in need was such an inspirasion, that I would like to follow in her footsteps. As I have always enjoyed visiting & help take care of elderly & children, I believe my hard work & passion for this career will be a reward in my life as well as others.

Participating in a lot of community service such as: making blankets for the local fire departments, participating in talents shows for the elderly & petting zoos at the nursing home, visiting & planting flowers for the nursing home residence, picking up trash along the local bike trail, planned & organized a makeover day for 3 special girls from the elementary by doing their nails, hair & makeup - "Princess for a Day", planting flower pots & delivering to local elderly & visiting with them. Working a part-time job at IGGY's Frozen Yogart Parlor since August 2012.
