My collegiate goals are to go as far as I can in sports as well as in academics. I aspire to be one of the top collegiate distance runners in the country, but I know it will take hard work and dedication to get to where I want to be. I hope to contribute to a team in competition, but also positive team chemistry among all the student-athletes I am with. Being able to connect with teammates is one of the most important things when it comes to a team sport such as running. You must be positive to all who are participating, and lead by example.
I believe I would make a good candidate for a team because I know what it takes to be a good leader, not as a Captain of the team, but being able to communicate my values to others.
