Breana Lindquist '12 Recruiting Profile

I have been running track since I was in 5th grade on my first CYO team. My coach nurtured a talent he saw back then that helped lead me to where I am today. I continued to excell as the years went on and I highy enjoy running on the competitive level. In my sophmore year I was presented with the prestigious 'coach's award'. I have earned my way as one of the top 4 runners of our Varsity team--I was chosen by my coach to be captain of this year's and last year's winter and spring teams. My desire is to continue running at the college level. The field of studies I am interested in is sports medicine. My priority is not so much the size of the school as it is my compatability with the coaches, the student body and the mission of the college. I have been very fortunate to have a coach, who for the last three years, has always instilled the importance of education first. He inspires me to excell both on and off the track. My goal is to exceed my own limits and expectations.
