Personal Statement

I love to run and compete. I have been selected as All State in New York for Cross Country for the last three years. I was also selected as All Section, All County and All League for the last four years. I had the honor of being Team Captain Junior and Senior years. In my Junior Year my team was able to Win our League, County and Section in New York, and we placed 3rd at the New York State meet. I think my best years of running are still to come, and I look forward to competing on a collegiate level. Running has given me focus to not only have success in athletics, but also in the classroom. I've become so much more productive since I began running in 8th grade. I look forward to the challenges of both athletics, and academics in the next level. I want to see how far I can push myself and become the best runner and student I can possibly be.
