I started running in the spring of my eighth grade. At the time, I was a division one soccer player and also playing for my high school as well as basketball and travel lacrosse. I was also a rider. My biggest accomplishment was winning the Hampton Classic in the hunter division. However, once I started running track, I realized that I had the bug. By my sophomore year, I dropped all of my other sports to start concentrating on track. I have run cross country and indoor in addition to spring for these past two seasons. I am currently a junior at Friends Academy. I am a strong and dedicated athlete who is committed to the sport and who has only scraped the tip of the iceberg in terms of truly tapping into my skills.I am also an excellent and commited student. At Friends I have a very challenging curriculum. We do not have GPA’s but I have always averaged around a B+. As a talented student athlete, my goal is to find a school that will challenge and give me a chance to contribute to the overall life of the school. I hope to continue to really tap into my skills and grow as both a runner and a student.
