Running is my true passion in life. Besides running, i am also a dancer and a gymnast. Throughout high school, i was always busy because of school work, dance, gymnastics, community service, and track and cross country practice. I had no choice but to learn how to manage my time wisely. Ever since i started running track in 7th grade, it has become one of my major priorities in life. I am extremely dedicated to my studies and I consider myself to be just as dedicated to my running. I believe that running actually helps me excel with my academics. I ended my cross country season a few weeks ago. All of the hard work and dedication payed off when i ended up making all county for cross country. During all of my track and cross country meets, the feeling i endured every time i pr'd was beyond incredible. I am the type of person to push myself to the limit, It is just who I am. I am currently captain of our track team and one of the top distance runners. Last winter, me and my teammates broke the school record for the 4x1600 and i plan on breaking our own record this winter. In the future, i plan on pursuing a medical career. I have always promised myself that i will never let anything get in my way or stop me from reaching my goals in life.. whether it is earning a medical career or pushing myself (no matter how hard it may be) when i am running. Indeed, i would not be the same person i am today if it wasn't for track and cross country. Running has impacted my life in many great ways, and i am forever grateful.
