My name is Kristen Chiovari and I am very interested in becoming a student athlete. I am 5 feet 4 inches and weigh 129 pounds. I am looking to attend a college where I can participate in track and field while studying to be a nurse. School size doesn't matter to me. My event is pole vaulting. My personal best is 8 feet but I have cleared 9 feet in practice. I am determined to clear 9 feet or better in my senior year.
I started track in 9th grade but didn't start pole vaulting until the 10th grade. Whether it was by accident or design, pole vaulting is what I was meant to do. I am proud of all my successes in a sport that I have just started. I am driven, goal oriented and determined to beat my personal best.
