Ashley Petersen '12 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Ashley Petersen. I currently attend Allegany-Limestone High School in Allegany, NY. I am on the varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field team. My events consist of high jump mainly, I have also done sprinting such as the 100, 200, 4x100, and 4x200, but my main passion is high jump.
   As a Sophmore in the spring of 2010 I placed 4th in my division at the New York State Championships and ended up 9th over all in the state of New York (high jump). I also, won sectionals for the indoor season in 2011 and went to states placing 9th over all. As a Junior, My Outdoor Season 2011 I was the Sectional champion 1st place 5'7". State Championship, 2nd place and 6th place in NY State federation. My 4x100 team also placed 5th. Summer 2011, I Competed in the Junior Olympics, 1st  place Niagara Association Champion, 1st place Regional 2 Champion, and 4th place National Champion at Wichita State University KS.
   I am currently the high jump record holder at ALCS. Ideally, my goal is to high jump for a division I or division II school. Financial assistance will play an important roll in my college selection process.
