I discovered my love for cross country this year as a senior, after participating in varsity soccer, basketball and softball throughout high school, earning eleven varsity letters to date. I bring a team first mentality with a hard working attitude to the table. I was able to participate in three seasons of sports while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in Honors and Advanced Placement classes, holding leadership positions in student government, and dedicating many hours to community service and school clubs.
My high school team, Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, is ranked #1 in the state of NH and came in first place for most scheduled meets. My time has steadily increased starting in August at 21:47 in tempo run to my most recent personal record of 19:48 at the Brown University Championship Meet in Rhode Island. I am consistently in the top 5 runners for my varsity team.
My goal is to continue to run while in college to further develop and realize my full potential. I would like to attend a quality institution so that I may receive a top notch education and be challenged while surrounded by inspiring individuals. I plan to study biology and molecular biology to enable me the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others through a future career in biological research.
