Personal Statement
My name is Alex Dean, I’ve always loved sports but most of all running. I started running at age 6 for a local cross country team. I continued to train and compete for this team until age 14. During those years of running cross country, I learned my love for running, but over those years I also learned I hated long distance. So around age 13 I began to run for a local track team. During the beginning of track, I instantly fell in love with hurdleing. I now compete hurdles on the high school level. I run indoor and outdoor track for oakdale high school. I am very determined to reach my goals and I am outgoing. I’m ready to run and learn.
