Jodi Lambert '12 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college that will allow me to get a good education and also offer an athletic scholarship(even partial) for pole vaulting. I was a competitive gymnast for approximately eight years up until  March 2010.  I finished my gymnastic career in the Kansas State meet in March 2010 and then went out for track the remainder of that spring.  That was my first experience in pole vaulting and I cleared a height of 10 ft late that season. In the late fall of 2010 I started taking some club instruction at Doug Lytle's Extreme Sports Gym and competed in the Indoor track season in Kansas and Missouri in January and February 2011.  I competed in my High School season my Junior year in track as a top varsity pole vaulter for my school. Through the many years of doing competitive gymanstics, I learned to be very disciplined and I am a hard worker. I set realistic goals and then put in the work to achieve my goals. I am looking for either a Div I or Div II school that I can continue to compete in pole vaulting.   I am interested in a Biology major.
