Personal Statement
As a high school athlete I increase my discus throw by ten feet every year I compete making my senior year goal 120 feet. In college I would like to continue that trend if not improve it by reaching the 160 foot mark by my fourth year in college. I am also interested in pursuing a throwing career in the hammer, weight, and javelin throw. I am a good candidate for your collegiate team because I have been involved in team oriented sports since fourth grade and I know the importance of team chemistry. I am very coachable and I am always open to trying new methods to improve my throwing. I am a three sport varsity athlete and an above average student ranked in the top 28% of of my class.
