Taylor Luczak '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Taylor Luczak and I will be a 2012 graduate from Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL.  I have been running cross country since 6th grade and since I first ran, I have always aspired to compete at the collegiate level.  I have such a passion to run and am willing to go above and beyond and push myself.  I am an Honor Roll student who continues to challenge myself by taking AP and Honors classes.  I currently carry a 3.67 Cum. GPA  (26 ACT) and am very involved in many clubs and organizations in and out of Willowbrook including, NHS, Civitas, Key Club, Varsity Athletic Club as well as having recently participated in my Parish's trip to Nazareth Farm in West Virginia.

In addition, I have participated on scholarship in Hinsdale Hospital's iBody Camp as well being invited to the Youth Leadership Conference on Medicine. 

After a growth spurt last year, my stride changed and thus my times increased.  However, I have since worked with a Personal Coach and Trainer to improve my stride, my gait and overall performance.  My training times have continued to improve and range currently in the low 19/high 18s and continue to drop.  

I am seeking a college where I can not only continue to challenge myself academically but also on the cross country course.  While I am open to all options, my goal is to find the best college match for me and my future team where we can all achieve together.
