This fall I will be entering my senior year at Marquette High School. I am currently considering which colleges will best fulfill my academic and athletic interests. I am interested in pursuing a degree in business. My goal is to ultimately become an Athletic Director. I feel that participating in intercollegiate sports will not only be gratifying while in college, but will help set the foundation for my future career. I have been in track going on six seasons and cross country four seasons. I became involved in sports shortly after my father died when I was ten. Basketball was initially my outlet. When I was introduced to track, I found my calling. I like the atmosphere of being on a team yet having control of how I do as an individual. I enjoy working with a coach learning techniques on how to push myself to excel. I feel I would be an asset to any track or cross country team. I have a strong competitive nature. I am determined to do my best on the track and also in the classroom. I am very excited to start the next chapter of my education.
