Personal Statement
My name is Mary Grace. I am currently a Junior in High School. I have been throwing shot put and discus since 7th grade. I have gone to State in discus every year. I missed my Freshman year of sports due to a knee injury, but I am back good as new. I would love to see how far my throwing can take me and my goal is to win a national championship. July 2014 I had the opportunity to attend one of John Godina's throwing camps and I would love the opportunity to continue that training. I also play basketball but my passion is throwing. I am involved in various clubs, active in church activities and enjoy helping with community projects. Due to my knee injury and my experience with physical therapy, I have decided to make that my major.
