Personal Statement
I am interested in continuing running in college for cross-country and track. I am looking forward to be coached at a collegiate level. My forte has been as a mid-distance to long-distance runner. I am looking to find a program that I can be part of to maximize my athletic potential and to achieve my academic goals. I have qualified for state competition in cross-country and track the last three years with some success but I feel I have not reached my full potential as of yet.
