My collegiate goals are to pursue a career in nursing while successfully competing in track and field. I feel I am a good candidate for your team because I work hard to succeed in everything I do. I am different from other recruits because I focus on not only helping myself improve but helping my teammates and those around me improve as well. I am currently an active participant on the varsity basketball team, varsity track team, and on my high school's Student Athletic Leadership Training program (SALT). I am an active participant of Girl Scouts for the last eleven years where I hold the highest award for my age for my contribution to a cooperative project with Lurie's Children's Hospital in Chicago along with numerous fundraising and service projects. I was inducted into the National French Honors Society Club and have received Honor Roll throughout high school. I frequently enjoy volunteering my services at Feed My Starving Children and Ronald McDonald House. In my free time I enjoy participating in my high school powder puff football team, running in 5K and 15K races and spending time with my family. Through hard work, integrity and dedication I am determined to be an asset on and off the field.
