Isabel Carrillo '17 Recruiting Profile

Making it to the top four all conference was the highlight of my freshman year. This encouraged me to push myself, including my teammates, in order to improve our times. However, I felt as if I developed the most as a student athlete my sophomore year when I didn't make it all conference and wasn't able to beat my PR. That occurrence helped me motivate myself to be the best runner and being able to perform at the college level. 

 Being part of a fantastic program helped me understand and learn the importance of teamwork, dedication, and hard work. I am seeking for a program similar to this, that can also be a good match for me athletically and academically. I feel as if I not only have the talent but the work ethic and leadership skills to make an impact on your program. Being a two-sport athlete and three- time captain, I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
