Aly Regas '12 Recruiting Profile

 Hello, my name is Aly Regas. I just finished my junior year of high school, and can now say I am a senior at Bishop McNamara High School. I am 5'2'' and weigh 115 pounds. I have been competing at the varsity level for track since my freshman year. I run the 4x100 meter relay, the 4x400 meter relay, anchor the 4x200 meter relay, and triple jump. My team has won sectionals three years in a row, and won all area this year. I recieved an 8th place medal this year at indoor state. Not only do I run track, but I am also captain of the 2011 State Champion Dance Team at Bishop Mac. My track coach, Sandy Zullo, recently told me that I would be captain of the sprinters my senior year. I believe I have good leadership skills, and that I am a hardworker. I strive to be the fastest runner and best jumper not only on my team, but in my area. I set goals, and don't stop until I have accomplished them. At poms, my coach calls me the "personal trainer" because I am always the one that gets my teammates motivated to workout. Track is my favorite sport, and I have dreamed about running track in college since my freshman year. I am open to going to college anywhere in the country, and I am interested in all division levels. I want to major in physical therapy and minor in athletic training. My goal in college is to become a better athlete and hopefully compete as a freshman. I know I could make an impact on the team I am on, and I am looking forward to talking with you!
