Running on a collegiate level is of the utmost priority for me. I love running, and I have felt this way since I was a little girl. This passion for running has stayed with me through various setbacks, and I know my love for running will persist for the rest of my life.
I enjoy leadership positions: I served as the Publicity Director for my school`s National Honor Society, and I am also involved in my school`s Legacy Club, which is a body of student athletes who aspire to be positive role models. Leadership is a vital part of who I am, and I enjoy playing an active role on a team and in a community.
Academically, I try to always do my best. My ACT score is a 32. I am fortunate to have highly motivated friends who push me academically and athletically, and I have found that when other people are trying their best I am inclined to try even harder.
No matter what, I will find a way to keep running. I am excited about the rest of my high school career, and I anticipate many, many more races and runs in the future.
