2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Academically, I am on track for graduating in the top 5 percent of my class (of 398), my goal is to finish high school in the top ten of my class. I am looking forward to studying business in college, and I hope to have the opportunity to study abroad somewhere. I am taking Spanish all throughout high school and plan to continue this in college, so I would love to study in a country where I can expand upon my Spanish language skills.
Athletically, my passion is pole vault. This past season I accomplished many of my goals including winning my county, conference, and sectional meets in the pole vault. I qualified for the Illinois State meet for the third year, and this year I made it to the finals which was another one of my goals. I ended up placing fifth at the IHSA State Meet with a vault of 11'9''. I am looking forward to continuing to train and improve throughout the offseason.
