Hi, my name is Morgan Atchison and I have been playing sports since I was able to compete at about 5 years old. I have been hooked especially in track since I won state my 8th grade year in the 100 hurdles, breaking the Illinois S class state record. Ever since I have made it my goal to run at the collegiate level.
Other than just winning and reaching personal goals, my favorite thing to do is train in the off season. I am a quiet leader, and try to lead my team by showing a good work ethic and how it can pay off on the track. I want to aggressively approach the recruiting process as I do on the track.
Academically, I also must work hard to keep my 3.96 GPA . Aside from sports and grades, I am a member of SADD, and volunteer in the school and community, as well as being a member of The National Honor Society.
In college I want to be challenged to excel in the classroom for my future in the job force, and athletically I don't want it to just be a means to fund school, but to continue to reach faster times and bigger achievements. Finding the right college may be a challenge, but I am willing to work hard to find it so I can reach my goals.
