Personal Statement
When I was younger, I knew running was going to become my best friend. Running has become a big factor in my life that not only shows me discipline, and striving for more, but maturity. Running has taught me how to balance my plate and to never settle for mediocrity. I am a hard worker on the track and on the books.
I take pride being a student athlete at Morton West high school. Track & Field last year, we came in 2nd place at our IHSA West Suburban conference. In that meet, I ran the 800m and PR'd with a time of 2:36.
Besides spending time with family and friends, I also participate at the youth group at my church and volunteer at Gift of Hope OTDN to help spread awareness on the importance of registering as an organ & tissue donor.
