Emmy Burris '16 Recruiting Profile

Attending College is a goal I've had for as long as I can remember. My family has always encouraged me to achieve this goal. In my future career I would like to help people improve their daily lives. Athletic Training is a profession that will help me accomplish this goal. Volleyball and Track are the sports I chose to participate in High School. As a team member it is important to me to bring my best to each practice, volleyball match, and track meet. As a team member I'm driven to push myself and team mates towards success. I encourage my team mates to do their best when we hit rough spots. I'm driven to put forth the best effort when put into any situation. My dedication to my coaches and teams is from my heart; it's who I am, and it's what I believe. I do these sports because I want to go somewhere with them and I want to show people the time and work I've put into them. I want to set records, I want to break records. I want to be there for my team mates . By being dedicated is how I'm going to achieve these goals.  One way I excel is how I'm able to keep above a 3.0 grade point average while participating in one varsity sport and one national traveling club sport.
