Personal Statement

  •     My goals are to get a good education at a good college and to be able to play a sport with a good coach. Obviously these are big goals, but I am willing to try my hardest on my education and on my sports. I will also focus on some extracurricular activities such as orchestra and my other favorite sport volleyball. These will help me manage my time for the future.  To accomplish all of my goals I will try my best, learn from others, and practice to make skills permanent.

  • 2016 Dragila Vault Crew (All)
  • Stacy Dragila’s Vault Crew takes a holistic view to training for the pole vault. Every athlete who commits to the winter training program will receive individualized attention and expert guidance in the pole vault. Winter training is suited for athletes of all abilities. Small groups at practice will give each athlete more repetitions on the runway. Different areas that we will focus on includes lead up drills, slide box drills, 1 to 6 step drills into the pit, inversion drills, sprint technique drills, video analysis of full run approach, and extensive gymnastics training. Remember pole vault is just gymnastics on a stick! We will also incorporate strength training and core/stabilization drills at the end of practice. Above all else, we will make sure to have fun in the process!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
