Aloha, my name is Emma Taylor, I am 17, and a junior at Hawaii Preparatory Academy. I specialize in 100M Hurdles and 300M Hurdles but I also regularly compete in the 400M Relay, 1600M Relay, and 100M Dash. I have won 7 state titles in my three years of high school; 3 of them for the 100M Hurdles, 2 for the 300M Hurdles, and 2 for Division II girls soccer. Attending a small private school means that I don't have all of the resources that large schools have. Because of this I am unable to train in track and field year round but it does allow me to participate in varsity volleyball and soccer. If given the chance to train year round, I firmly believe that I will be able to improve my times immensely. Academically, I maintain a 3.8 GPA and participate in honor and AP classes. I am a very self driven and self sufficient student and person. I will always work my hardest to be a better athlete, student, and individual.
