I have been an avid runner for about 9 years and have been dedicated to the sport of track and field, from showing up every day at summer track practices to competing and placing in state meets. It would be a dream to continue this journey to the collegiate level and hopefully be successful. Within these past 9 years I know the true definition of hard work by maintaining an average GPA of 3.9 through my last 3 years of high school and running track for Sacred Hearts Academy since 7th grade. Aside from managing school and athletics the honest reason why I would like to run track at the collegiate level is because I just want to get better. I am never content with what I do and am always looking for a new time to meet or looking for ways to improve my overall running efficiency. I love all the challenges that come with running from the pressure of meets to the constant muscle fatigue and this is something that I am looking to continue in my collegiate years.
