I have only started running track my freshman year and ever since then I knew that I love to run and the challenges that go along with it. With that in mind, I hope to continue this sport as a collegiate student-athlete. I like working hard to see myself improve every time I compete. The same goes for my academics, I am a 3.1 student, but I continue to work harder to raise my GPA. In academics, I challenge myself by taking rigorous classes like AP English and AP Biology, as well as honor classes. As a student-athlete, I make sure that I prioritize my academics before anything. And when I finish my school work I will always find time to train, even if it means sacrificing my social time. I am always working towards improvements because I know that my best time is not my best yet.
