Cortnie Pacyao '17 Recruiting Profile

Aloha my name is Cortnie Pacyao and I am an graduate of Hilo High School located in Hilo,Hawai`i. I’m currently a freshman with a GPA of 3.0. I participate in Track and Field and compete in the shot put and discus events with PR’s of 35'3” in the shot and 105’9” in the discus. My goal this year is to be able to throw a 38' in shot put and a 110' in discuss. When I get to my senior year of college I want to be able to throw a 42' in shot put and a 130’ in discuss. I Have volunteered and assisted the Athletic Training staff as a student first aid helper to gain knowledge in the allied health field. I aspire to become a pediatric nurse. I enjoy working with kids to help them become as healthy as possible so they can excel in life. If I had to choose three words to describe myself I think the words would be extroverted, coachable, and humble. On my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the ranch or beach, and I also collect many different inspirational/motivational quotes.
