Kerrisa Grieves '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations are to become the best sprinter I can and get a full scholarship for college and maybe run in the olympics with hard work. I feel with the correct training, coaching and backing I would be a lot faster. I get maybe two months a year training in my small town high school and in those two month my legs get very strong and I get faster every year I run. I know two months is not how training should be but it's all we have here and I still beat all the girls in my area. I know if given the chance I can become better, stronger and faster. I feel what makes me different from other recruits is I know track is hard but I am willing to put my all in and feel track is my life.I was born with the natural ability to run fast and always raced the boys in elementry school,it's just something I love and will never stop. My academics have not been great, but I have started understanding school and keeping my grades up is very important for my future. I have gotten my grades up this last semester and will continue to improve.
