Shayna Presley '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'4" sprinter from CT and will graduate in the 2010 class. I have been dedicated and seriously involved with track for almost 3 full years and have successfully progressed over time. I recently qualified for States and I am listed as an All State champion placing 2nd with a PR time of 58.25 in my 400m. I also ran the anchor in my 4x400m, placing 1st overall. I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue competitive athletics. I am currently open to any school divisions as long as my growth in this sport will continue to improve. I would prefer schools in the North East as well as the South because I have family there, but I am very open-minded. Therefore, the size of the school could vary and I am willing to adjust. I would like to earn a scholarship to a program where I would make a big contribution early in my career, but academics are much more important to me with a current 3.57 GPA, and hopefully that will be more of a major factor in my success.
