I am Emily Savage, and I am a pole vaulter, high jumper, triple jumper, 55M-200M sprinter from Weston, CT. I'm currently a 5'5", 116 lb junior who is seeking a school with track and field.
I am a retired gymnast of 13 years, and throughout my life I have learned many different ways to stay motivated in a sport, keep up with my endurance, and persevere through the hardest obstacles. When it comes to any sport, I put in 110% because I believe that's what sports were made for.
Throughout highschool, I have been determined in keeping my GPA around a 3.0-3.4 in order to keep up with both my academics and track. I think its important that both are put in with as much effort as the other.
I am pretty open as to the location of schools, however I prefer a school with an enrollment of around 15,000-32,000 because it's important to me that I am gven personal attention in the classroom.
I really hope to join this type of school, and I believe I could become a big contributor to the team because I progressively improve as the seasons go on, and I give it my all.
