In seventh grade I was faced with making a significant decision in my athletic career; the decision was whether to continue as a competitive gymnast or to run. I made my decision to switch from gymnastics to track when I was seventh grade. In eighth grade I joined a city track team called the Invaders, and I was also a member of my school track team.
My greatest achievement so far is when I won District Champion for JV in 300 hurdles and long jump as a freshman. Another achievement of mine was in the summer of 2016 I made it on the list for the 4x4 to go to nationals with the Invaders. A stellar academic career is also very important to me, I would like to go into the medical field. While pursuing my track and field career I also want to maintain my 4.0 GPA.
