Keri Reeves '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'1'', 125 lbs and I run track and cross-country. I've participated in Cross Counrty just my senior year(PR: 19:21). This year I've competed on the varsity team top seven all season and am racing in CIF. My team placed 5th in the D1 heat 2 varsity girls CIF race on 11/12/11 and are now moving onto CIF finals at Mnt. Sac on 11/19/11.

I also competed in varsity long distance track my freshman and junior year. Primarily I race the 800M (PR: 2:31), but I also ran anchor for the 4x400, raced the 1600M once (PR: 6:00), and the 3200M once (PR: 13:42).


I am very passionate about running and am continuing to lower my times, so I am confident that I can PR significantly during the 2011 track season, and hopefully in the remainder Cross Country season as well. I hope to compete in college track and cross-country where there is always a high level of competition and to keep setting new goals to lower my PRs. 


I have also competed in club and varsity soccer for 8 years. 


I scored a 1610 on my SATs but am planning on retaking them in December 2011 possibly. I scored a 520 on the SAT Literature subject test and a 540 on the Math Level 2 SAT subject test. I passed both the AP US history exam and AP English 11 exam, and I am planning to take the ACT December 2011. As of right now I am undecided and am not particularly baised to any particular location, size, or type of college.
