I'm a United Kingdom born athlete living and at school in California.
I discovered my passion and talent through the local youth track club. I have a real desire to follow my dream and compete for Great Britain on the world stage. Understanding the importance of my education and the amazing opportunity offered by the collegiate system to learn, compete and grow I hope to find a college that allows me to train and compete at the highest level. At the same time gaining an education, preparing me for life and providing the ability to give back to the sport I love.
I'm currently recovering from a minor hamstring pull that has kept me from CIF qualifiers. I'm now busy in rehab and finishing my year in the classroom.
Highlights:
Youth: After a successful introduction to track in the local youth league (Ventura County Youth Track Conference), in which I won several county titles and established age group records in the 100m and 200m, I went on to compete in national USATF JO finals and UK national championships.
Freshman: In my Freshman year of high school I finished the year Dyestat TFX National Freshman leader in 100m (11.73 US#27, CA#7) and 10th in the 200m (CA#17). I was runner up at the Ventura County Championship 100m, won the 100m & 200m Marmonte league titles and became CIF SS DIV2 100m and 4X100m Champion, and 200m runner up. I was 7th at the CIF SS master meet narrowly missing state as a Freshman.
Sophomore: In my Sophmore year I focused on the 100m and 4x100m relay. I managed to secure the Marmonte and Ventura County 100m titles and placed second in CIF SS Div2 100m (11.57w). My CIF post season culminated in me being the only underclassmen to make the state 100m final and helping my team to place in the state 4X100m final.
Junior: In my junior year I have raised my GPA, extended myself academically, began SAT testing. Unfortunately a minor hamstring pull sustained at Arcadia during the 4x100 has cut short my season and hasn't allowed me to continue on to CIF. At that point I was accepted to the Invitational 100m at both Arcadia and MtSAC relays and led the Ventura county rankings at 100m.
