Samantha Amido '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Amido a 5"2" senior sprinter from South Pasadena, CA. In my first year of running track I won the Coach's award as a freshman on varsity for being the fastest girl on my team and also placing 2nd in the 100m Rio Hondo League Final on a fractured foot. Our team won the Rio Hondo League Championship in my sophmore year. In my junior year we won the CIF SS Division 3 Team Championship for 2012. I was the only junior captain on the team and ran the 3rd leg on the 4x100 squad that finished 2nd in the division championship. I am interested in pursuing a collegiate career in track at a school where I can grow both academically and personally while making an early impact on the team. I am open to all divisions and would consider moving out of state.
