Running has become central to my life and has guided me as I navigate college choices.Through daily practice I have cultivated a dedicated work ethic that I apply to school, family, and personal struggles. So far in my high school career I have not been able to put together a track season which truly showcases my abilities, but believe that with solid winter training this upcoming track season will be truly representative of what I can do. I believe that I am just scratching the surface of my potential and am excited to develop my running further. Running has brought me some of my happiest memories, and I hope to continue to be involved with a collegiate team as I move onto the next chapter of my life.
I am a dedicated student-athlete and prioritize my academics accordingly. I plan to attend a college or university where I will be challenged both personally and academically. In the future I would like to pursue a career in environmental science and/or engineering.
On the whole, running is a part of me that I would like to continue to develop in the coming years. I hope that through collegiate running, I will be able to enrich my college experience and contribute my best to wherever I go.
