Personal Statement
My name is Carissa Gomez and I ran cross country and track for Citrus Valley High School in Redlands CA but I currently attend Riverside City College. My second year at RCC will consist largely of focusing on finding a college where I can continue competing in track and cross country while majoring in Biology. In addition to achieving these goals, I am looking for a college that I can call home while forming life long freindships. I have found that there is no greater bonding experience among friends than working hard together, side by side, as teammates towards a common goal and achieving victories together along with our coach. That is why I have always competed in sports. I expect to improve my performance with a successful program. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to view my profile.
