HEAVEN VASQUEZ '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Heaven Lee Vasquez and I work very hard at everything I do. I have a passion and a love for learning and for distance running. My goal is to major in Kinesiology and to continue to run and compete at the college level and beyond.   I am a competitive athlete who strives to always be better.  I was 1 in 10 students to make my schools Hawaii Cross Country team my 8th grade year and came in top 10 of over 140 runners. I haven't stopped running since. I have run both Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field my Freshman year to my Senior year.  I've been co-captain all 4 years of Cross Country and Track. I have won various awards over my High School running career.  I also played Varsity Soccer and even coached a local AYSO team.  Aside from athletics, I have also taken many Honors and AP classes and I am Vice President of my school's Law Society and other various clubs and activities.

I love to train hard with my teammates and believe that when one of us improves, we all improve.  I believe I can be a great asset to your team and together we will work very hard to have an amazing team and even more amazing seasons.
